Creating Video Analysis in VolleyStation Pro
Video montages are a powerful tool in VolleyStation Pro, enabling coaches and players to analyze specific plays or sequences. These montages help improve team performance by providing visual insights into gameplay (Before starting video analysis, make sure the match is properly synchronized and video is added to your game).
Creating video analysis in VolleyStation PRO is straightforward and can be done in two ways:
1. Using the Video Analysis Section
Simply go to the Video Analysis section or access it through Reports/Montages.
2. Selecting Games
Choose the game(s) you want to analyze (you can always choose game(s) one more time - top button). Once selected, the Video Analysis Layout will appear, allowing you to start working on your analysis.
Filters
There are two methods of filtering.
Use classic filters (like in reports)
Filter by code
Additional options
In VolleyStation Pro, you can easily save your montages as reports. This feature allows you to organize and preserve your analysis for future reference or sharing with your team.
Simply generate a montage, and then save it in the desired format as a report. This ensures that your video analysis is accessible and ready to use whenever needed.
If you want to watch full rallies, simply click the “Full Points” button. This will display the entire rally from serve to point scored. Alternatively, you can choose to watch play-by-play moments.
You have the option to customize the playback duration by selecting how many seconds before or after a specific play you want to view. This flexibility allows you to focus on specific moments or sequences during your analysis.
On single play is informations like:
Code Information: Zones and other specific details related to the play.
Rotations: The rotations of both teams during the play.
Opponent Name: The name of the opposing team.
Game Phase: The part of the game in which the play occurred.
If you don’t want to include a specific play in your analysis, you can select it on the left side to remove it from view. Use the six squares to mark plays with flags for easier identification or categorization.
If you need to export only a specific play, simply click the second button from the right to generate an export for that play alone. To see the full match coding line, click the button located on the far right.
Plays are not fixed and can be sorted according to your preferences. You have full control over the order, allowing you to organize them based on rotations, players, or any other criteria that suits your analysis needs.
If you want to move a play from the bottom to the top of the list:
Click on the play to deselect its current position (the "Current X" should disappear).
Hold the Option key (on Mac).
Drag the play to your desired position.
Press the arrow up key to finalize the change.
This method allows you to quickly reorganize plays for better analysis and workflow.

E: Move video forward by 2 seconds.
R: Unselect a rally.
T: Change the playback speed.
S: Move video one frame backward.
