Analysts divide the court not into 6, but into 9 zones. The additional zones — 7, 8, and 9 — are located between zones 1, 6, 5 and zones 2, 3, 4, each being a 3x3 meter square. Each zone is further divided into 4 subzones, allowing us to precisely determine the direction of every play.
