Video analysis - practice

Video analysis is very important not only during game analysis but also during the training process. VolleyStation Pro provides many great ways to prepare video montages, analyze videos, and use them to improve your tactics and player skills. One of them is to use spreadsheets, which not only give us numbers or visual data but also a direct way to go to a video and watch chosen plays. The essential and valuable function in spreadsheets is the “Show on video” function. You can use it by clicking Ctrl+Left click and choosing this function from the list you will see. 

It will open the window with the video analysis, where you can see the plays filtered by the functions used in this cell in the spreadsheet. This function lets you quickly move from numbers or courts to video. The “show on video” function is compatible with numeric functions like VSCOUNT, which our courts created using VSCOURT. The only requirement is for the cell’s top function to be a single VS function. 

This allows you to easily show the required plays to players or coaches and analyze them together. During the training process, you can use, for example, the “Practice - Basic Stats” sheet, which will allow you to see the most important plays from the practice.
