Setter calls and attack combinations
Here, you can put the setter calls and attack combinations used during coding and analysis. In attack combinations, the order is important—the color of each cell matches the colors of related cells later in the sheet. Under these combinations, you can choose the setter that you want to analyze.
On the right, you can see the team’s passing numbers, the outside hitters’ side-out and transition attack numbers, and the attack numbers after their own reception for each outside hitter.
Then you can see eleven “courts”. Please note that the net is at the bottom of the court. The first six courts show distribution after a particular setter call, three courts present distribution while the ball was set in the specific zone, and the last two show distribution after neutral and negative reception. Red indicates that most of the balls were set in this zone, and green indicates that the fewest balls were attacked in that zone.
The huge court on the left shows passing and attacking data. Above the court, in orange cells, you can choose the rotation that you want to analyze (you always need to put their number or a few numbers for a few rotations) and the passing player (if you don’t choose the player, you need to pick “*” there). At the top of the court, you can find passing data of the selected players. You can choose the player for each zone from the dropdowns in orange cells. In the lower part of the court, you can see the attack combinations (the ones that you put in the top right part of the sheet), the number of balls attacked in each combination, the percentage of kills (green numbers), and attack efficiency (purple numbers). Below the court, you can see the attack data regarding the court’s right, center, and left parts. Please note that the net is at the bottom of the court.
On the right side of the sheet, you can see the court with distribution after the freeball and the space for the notes you want to add to the analysis.
On the bottom part of the sheet, you can find data regarding attacks after perfect and good reception in each zone. The number of balls, percentage of kills, and attack efficiency in all situations are broken by the attack combinations. If necessary, you can choose the setter call in the orange cell above these tables.
