Beach Analysis - Attack

Attack is the most important element in the beach games. This spreadsheet allows us to analyze it better and prepare for the game against another team or our own game.

How to use it?

The first tables show the data regarding attacks on the team and the particular players. In the second table, the attacks are sorted by attack zone. You can see from which side of the court the player was most efficient and scored the most points.

Here, we can see that the most attacks by player #1 (Łosiak) were performed from the left side of the court and by player #2 (Bryl) - from the other side of the court. Player #1 was also much more efficient while attacking from the left and right side of the court; however, from the center part of the net, player #2 attacked the ball better. Below this table, you can find graphs that present these data visually.

These attacks are also broken by the direction of the attack. The table shows how many balls were attacked from the left and right sides of the court into the line or cross-court. There are also cut-shot attacks shown separately. The table and graphs below present the percentage of the kills in each situation.

The second sheet shows each player's attack directions divided by the attack starting zone. There are six courts, three for each player, for the attacks from the court's left, center, and right parts of the court.
